So. The Drawing Year. I think it may not have been the first time I worked extensively on paper, but certainly the first time I was explicitly told to prioritise it. And I must say that I found this to be a rewarding and exciting surface to work on. I love canvas, and I always will love its texture, but few things are as enjoyable as working on a smooth hot pressed sheet of paper.
