A summer residency at Borgo Pignano in 2024 and the beautiful Tuscan altar pieces I had a chance to see while wandering through the towns, cities and villages on this pilgrimage like retreat has resulted in a desire to all shiny things to make their way into my painting. Some of these paintings were completed straight after coming back to the studio at Turps in Walworth and were part of the exhibition concluding my two years of working there. All were part of a show at Sarah Kravitz Gallery Residency in Soho Square in October.
